Visit their country market, where you’ll discover locally grown products, including local wines, hard ciders, gourmet cheese, and much more. You’ll love our premium quality seasonal fruit, grown right here on their farm—the largest apple and pear orchard in Western Washington.
Bellewood Café & Bakery features breakfast and lunch with tasty homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, espresso, beer, and ciders on tap.
Their award-winning craft distillery was the first farm-to-bottle apple distillery in Washington. Enjoy complimentary sips in their tasting room, where they serve the world’s smoothest vodka, gold medal gin, and delicious aged brandy.
Located about a 15-minute drive from Oostema Farmstead Inn, BelleWood Farms is home to Northwest Washington’s most extensive apple orchards. They also have a gift shop full of various local things, like wine, hard ciders, cheese, meats, to name a few. They also carry Woods Coffee, Holmquist Hazelnuts, Anytime Toffee, and my favorite Hemplers meats. The shop is open from 8 am to 5 pm.
Families can save money picking their apples while their children have fun learning about local agriculture at Whatcom County’s Bellewood Farms & Distillery this fall.

U-pick hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, beginning Sept. 5 through Oct. 31. Bellewood Farms is located at 6140 Guide Meridian, about halfway between Bellingham and Lynden.
“It’s good for everyone to know where their food comes from and how things grow,” said Eric Abel, president of Bellewood Farms. “Even if they don’t pick their own apples, they can enjoy the free apple bin train ride through the orchard and farm. When children reach dead ends in the free corn maze, they’ll see signs with answers to agriculture questions and will receive a prize when they return with the answers.”
