You will also enjoy local arts and craft vendors. Be sure to check out the hand-sewn and locally designed clothing and textiles. Maybe shop for a new piece of hand-crafted jewelry or a souvenir of locally made soaps. You may also find handcrafted knives, essential oils, and traditional art pieces, along with wood and glass art.
Live entertainment is almost always a part of the Bellingham Farmers Market. Musicians, magicians, mimes, and even a hula-hoop twirler have been known to perform during shopping hours.

The season runs from June 4th to September 24th.
Located only a five-minute drive from Oostema Farmstead, at Centennial Park in downtown Lynden, the Farmers Market offers a nice variety of local products and produce. There is a colorful selection of locally grown produce including rhubarb, zucchini, plums, and strawberries. Lynden is the world’s largest grower of raspberries, so be sure to taste some of these red and juicy local favorites. Other food offerings may include local honey and related products, imported vanilla beans, and delicious sweet treats such as locally made toffee.
Browse the unique items offered by local artists and craftsmen at the market. The vendor tables are full of delightful offerings such as colorful textiles, homemade soaps, crocheted creations, wood-crafted items, handmade jewelry, and art pieces in every medium. You will also be able to purchase fresh-cut flower bouquets that are bursting with color.

We are so excited for our opening day, Saturday June 4th! Please help us get the word out by telling friends and family and sharing our Opening Day event on social media. The market will be open 10am-2pm and the parade will run 10:30 to Noon. Come early to find parking and grab a good seat. Look for our float in the parade as well!
FOOD TRUCKS AND LIVE MUSIC
This year we will have live music and food trucks at EVERY MARKET! We have bluegrass, folk, and even a harpist lined up to delight your ears as you shop local products from over 20 vendors. Come hungry and get ready for a good time. Our market operates rain or shine!
NEW FOOD ACCESS PROGRAMS: WIC & SENIOR FMNP
The Lynden Farmers Market has been approved to accept WIC and Senior FMNP vouchers this year. We believe that fresh, nutritious food should be accessible for all. We are also in the process of applying to accept SNAP/EBT and hope to have that program running sometime this summer.
KIDS VENDOR PROGRAM
We’ve had a number of requests from parents with kids who are interested in getting involved with the market and learning about entrepreneurship. We have heard you and are responding by unveiling our new Kids Vendor Program! The last Saturday of every month we will have an opportunity for kids to sell homemade and homegrown products of their own. For more information plase email us at lyndenfarmersmarket.com
