PRESS RELEASE: NORTHWEST TUNE-UP
Downtown Bellingham will host the return of Northwest Tune-Up this summer, July 12th – 14th, 2024, bringing together the industry’s best cycling brands, top-tier musicians, and award-winning craft brewers to one of North America’s most iconic cycling destinations for the third year in a row. Drawing over 10,000 attendees from across the globe in 2023, organizers are anticipating growth with this year’s event, while also listening to festival-goer feedback to improve the experience year-after-year. In anticipation of the headlining artist announcements in the coming days, see what you can expect at this year’s festival.

The Exhibitor Village allows for bike manufacturers and outdoor industry vendors across North America, to unify in a central space. Bellingham has come to be known as an industry Mecca – and festivals, like NW Tune-Up, allow for riders to interact with brands and the people behind their favorite gear. Passholders have the exclusive opportunity to demo bikes, utilize shuttles to Galbraith Mountain and Chuckanut trailheads, and, finish their day with a music festival at the waterfront venue.

“Tune-Up is the most relevant cycle-centric festival that’s happening in the U.S. right now” said, Allan Cooke, Senior Marketing & PR Manager at Specialized Bicycles. “A lot of historical bike festivals haven’t kept up with the way that people ride bikes. We want to ride our bikes and have fun at the same time. I come here and I know I have world-class riding at my finger tips the entire time. Everything’s on point. The riding, the music, the people, the atmosphere, the beer garden…it hits all the buttons.”
