Arriving

Anytime after 4 PM. If you'd like help when you arrive, please get here by 9 PM. After that we're off for the night, but you can still settle in on your own.

The door is unlocked when you arrive. A key hangs by the light switch, so you can lock up whenever you head out.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is free. The signal can be spotty around the farm, so we can't promise a connection or speed.
Restroom and shower
The cabin has no plumbing, so your restroom and the shower are a short walk away, under the lean-to by the barn.
You have your own private portable toilet. In the colder months, it moves right outside the cabin door.
Please keep it clean for the next guest, and text us right away if it needs attention.
A hot outdoor shower in a private, fully enclosed stall with a door and a changing area. In summer, our RV guests use it too, so please keep warm water to about 5 minutes so the next person gets a warm shower. Water is limited in winter.
A double sink with hot and cold water is under the lean-to, with dish soap for washing up. Please clear out any food when you're done.
We leave two towels for the shower or hot tub, plus a hand towel. Bring extra towels if you'd like more.
Hot tub
The hot tub is private, at no extra charge. During your time slot, it's yours alone.
The hot tub stays locked unless you've reserved a time, so please book before you head over. Pick any open time on the calendar. Each session is 45 minutes.
To keep things fair, the calendar allows one booking in the morning and one in the evening. Want another session? Text us, and if there's room we're happy to add one.
Outside
The farm is a shared space, so you'll see other guests around, especially RV campers in summer.
Your fire ring is right outside the cabin, with a picnic table and two chairs. Firewood is sold by the crate. Order one before you arrive and we'll bring it to the cabin, or buy one when you get here from our stand under the campground check-in. There's a wheelbarrow to bring it over, and you can pay by Venmo, PayPal or cash (the details are by the wood).
Please leave the fire ring where it is, and burn only wood: no trash, food or cigarette butts. No other portable wood-burning fire pits. If you'd like to use your own propane fire pit, ask us first so we can make sure it won't damage the lawn.
In summer, there's a grill right next to the cabin. We don't provide dishes or utensils, so bring your own.
Please set your stove and cooking gear on the picnic table, not the grass. No stoves that can scorch the lawn, and please don't pour hot water or coffee on the grass.
You're welcome to walk the fields and lanes. Please respect posted signs and stay clear of fenced pastures and equipment. You'll often see our Wagyu grazing, so enjoy them from outside the fences. A map of the farm is at the campground check-in station.
In the cabin
A queen bed, a wall heater, lights and power, a small fridge, a kettle and fresh drinking water, a counter with two stools, hooks for coats and bags, and curtains on the windows. No TV, no kitchen and no running water.
The bed isn't made up when you arrive. Clean sheets and bedding are in the tote under the bed, so they stay fresh and dry. Make it up with ours, or use your own.
Bring a small pan, camp stove or cooler if you'd like to cook, and your favorite coffee or tea for the kettle.
Please don't charge your car from the cabin. If you need a charge, let us know and we'll set you up at our station.
A washer and dryer are in the big yellow barn, through the glass doors. Laundry is $1 per machine, on the honor system. Please leave it in the box on the dryer, clean the lint trap, and take your laundry out as soon as it's done.
Use the big blue dumpster by the barn. We don't recycle, so bottles and cans go in too. Please take large cardboard and packaging with you, or drop it off with any recycling at Nooksack Valley Disposal and Recycling, 250 Birch Bay Lynden Rd, Lynden.

Our Farmstead Market isn't open every day, so it's best to order before your stay. Order at least 24 hours before you arrive, and it'll be thawed and waiting for you.

A short 10-minute drive east in Everson. German-influenced recipes and a family atmosphere that won't disappoint.
On the Homestead Golf Course, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out at Mt. Baker and the Canadian Cascades. A comfortable lounge, and a patio over the golf course in summer.

Serving Greek and Italian food in Lynden for more than two decades. The pizzas and the lasagna are amazing. If you want a local favorite, this is it.

Can't agree on dinner? Everyone will be happy here. A small-town feel with all kinds of food.
Just up the road from the farm. A beautiful outdoor beer garden with a covered area and a big fire pit, perfect for a cold one with friends.

We're about 3 miles from downtown Lynden. In summer, the campground check-in stand has maps and local tips too.

10 PM to 7 AM. Sound carries on the farm, so please keep it down so everyone can rest.
Visitors who aren't on your booking need a parking pass, park in the VISITOR area, and leave by 8 PM. If that timing doesn't work, please check with us first. On quieter nights we may be flexible, but when we're full, the 8 PM departure applies to everyone.
One dog under 50 lbs. Keep your dog on a leash whenever it's outside, off the bed, away from the livestock, and never alone in the cabin. Please bring your dog's bed or blanket from home, and pick up after your dog. An extra cleaning fee may apply for excess pet hair.

Please don't leave food or garbage out. Put it in the cabin fridge or the dumpster.
Check-out
Check-out is by 11 AM, so we have time to get ready for the next guests.
