Washington State’s largest vintage trailer rally will bring more fun to the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds on Tuesday, Sept. 7 through Monday, Sept. 13.

A public open house is on Sept. 11.

The Mount Baker Vintage Trailer Rally is held every year the weekend after Labor Day. It started at the Deming Log Show grounds, then moved to the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds in 2009.

A year ago during the COVID-19 pandemic, the rally was moved to Blaine to a private RV park, with 70 trailers in attendance.

“We account for approximately 40 percent Canadian attendance, so we expect to have fewer trailers this year,” she added. “We have altered our activities to be outdoor only and are offering our guests ‘open/closed’ signs to communicate if their usually always open door will be off limits or not.”

While most participating campers are from Washington, some have come from as far away as Michigan.

Since 2017, the Ralstons have added a theme to each Rally in which campers will dress up and decorate their trailer accordingly. This year’s theme is the 1920s and ‘30s.

Oostema Farmstead is located a short 10 minute drive from the Northwest Washington Fairgrounds.
